The
Community Youth Support Service is for young people between the ages
of 10 and 18. This is a similar service to the adult community support
service, but more tailored to young people's specific needs.

and aspirations.

Strengths
Assessment
At
the core of our work is the Strengths Assessment. This helps the individual:

focus on their their personal strengths and resources.
- identify
any differences between future perceptions of how they would like
their life to be and how it currently is.
- identify
barriers to realising that vision of their future by acknowledging
their aspirations, learning effective problem solving skills and setting
measurable goals to achieve the outcomes they desire.

Wellness
and Recovery
Developing
a Wellness Action Recovery Plan is a tool that we use which helps youth
to identify what is helpful/unhelpful in maintaining their wellness,
and what is helpful/unhelpful in their recovery process.
